RANGE OF WORK AND SERVICES
 
All aspects of plant and factory maintenance is a major part of the general work carried out by Charleston Engineering which offers around-the-clock services to at least four major export companies. These services include machinery installation of all types.
Typical work includes:
Machining, Welding and Fabrication of componentry, together with assembly and pre-testing of finished machinery.
General piping work for all purposes, including steam, hydaulic, water etc.
Engineering design services are available, particularly for processing machinery, including hydraulic and pneumatic circuit for automation. Strong emphasis is placed on solving engineering problems in close cooperation with clients.
Repairs and additions to transport vehicles and farm equipment, including truck and trailer towbars and tie down rails to comply with the NZS 544 - 1989 for load anchorage points.
Design, Manufacture and Supply of Meat Rail Switches and systems.
Design, Manufacture and Supply of Motor Cycle Carriers, to comply with Traffic Regulations.
Other operations include the purchasing and supply of steel, which is cut to the specified length, and the supply of nuts, bolts etc.
